Free Epic Games Store Games This Week: Sker Ritual and Home - A Unique Horror Adventure
Epic is giving away Sker Ritual and Home - A Unique Horror Adventure until October 29 at 11:00 AM ET. Here is what they usually cost and what comes next.
The Epic Games Store has two new free games this week: Sker Ritual and Home - A Unique Horror Adventure. Both went live on Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 AM ET, according to Epic's own storefront data. You can claim either one at no cost until the offer window closes.
What is free this week
Sker Ritual is free until Thursday, October 29 at 11:00 AM ET. Its normal price is $24.99.
Home - A Unique Horror Adventure is free over the same period, also until Thursday, October 29 at 11:00 AM ET. It usually sells for $4.99.
Together, the two games would cost $29.98 at their regular prices. Both have their own pages on the Epic Games Store, where you can add them to your library.
How claiming works
Free games on Epic are claim-and-keep. If you claim a game while the offer is active, it stays in your account library afterward. You do not need to claim it again later.
You need a free Epic Games account to claim. According to Epic, the store runs on PC and Mac. The mobile store on Android and iOS covers mobile titles only.
The key detail is the deadline. If you do not claim a game before 11:00 AM ET on October 29, it goes back to its regular price.
What is free next week
Epic's data lists one game next in line: Sorry We're Closed. It becomes free on Thursday, October 29 at 11:00 AM ET, the same moment this week's offers end. The offer runs until Thursday, November 5 at 11:00 AM ET. The game usually costs $24.99.
Epic's listing shows only that one title for next week. This article does not cover any other upcoming giveaways.
What it means for you
If you want either game, claim it before 11:00 AM ET on Thursday, October 29. Check the time against your own time zone, because the deadline is set in Eastern Time.
Claiming adds a game to your library but does not require you to install it right away. Sorry We're Closed arrives the moment this week's games leave, so you can claim all three in sequence.
