Bears vs. Packers Week 5: Bagent Set to Start as Chicago Chases Third Straight Over Green Bay
Chicago visits Lambeau Field on Sunday looking for a third straight win over Green Bay, with Tyson Bagent expected to start again and Caleb Williams questionable.

Why people are searching for Bears vs. Packers
Chicago heads to Green Bay on a two-game winning streak and with a chance to improve to 4-1.
What we know about the matchup
Bagent is expected to make his second straight start in place of Williams, who hurt his hamstring late in a Week 2 game against the Vikings. Williams returned to practice on a limited basis Friday for the first time since the injury.
Last Sunday, Bagent completed 25 of 34 passes for 268 yards in a 23-12 win over the Jets. The Bears had a franchise-record 34 first downs, 492 total yards and held the ball for 42:45.
Chicago is the first NFL team since the 1997 Jaguars to get wins from three different quarterbacks in the first four weeks. Williams beat the Panthers, Case Keenum beat the Eagles and Bagent beat the Jets.

The numbers and the history
The Bears came into Week 5 leading the league in total yards (429.0), rushing yards (196.3) and time of possession (36:35) per game. Without Monangai, the run game falls to D'Andre Swift, who ranks eighth in the NFL with 311 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and Roschon Johnson.
Chicago's defense has allowed 12 or fewer points in three straight games. NBC Sports notes the last team to do that four games in a row was the 2017 Eagles.
Green Bay has had the better of the rivalry under Matt LaFleur. He is 12-3 against the Bears since 2019, including the postseason, which NBC Sports says is the highest win rate any coach has had against Chicago with at least 10 games. Johnson, though, has won the last two meetings, including last season's 31-27 wild-card game. NBC Sports reports the Bears are favored to win at Lambeau for the first time in 20 years.
Injuries to watch
Bears guards Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson and tackle Darnell Wright were full participants Friday and carry no injury designations.
On the Packers' side, star linebacker Micah Parsons is still on the PUP list while recovering from a torn ACL, and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper is out for the season with a torn ACL.
