Marvel Rivals October 29 Patch Notes: Night of Illusions Event, Gorr and Rogue Fixes
The October 29 Marvel Rivals update adds the Night of Illusions event with Elsa Bloodstone and fixes bugs for Gorr, Rogue, Black Cat, Invisible Woman and Moon Knight.
The latest Marvel Rivals update, Version 20261029, is a content and bug-fix patch. According to the official patch notes, it brings a new limited-time event, new store items and a list of fixes for heroes, one map and a few other areas. The notes list no hero balance changes, weapon changes or new maps.
New event: Night of Illusions
Night of Illusions starts with the patch on October 29, 2026, at 09:00 UTC and runs to December 31, 2026, at 09:00 UTC. The story follows Elsa Bloodstone, who steps into a strange house and begins to uncover the truth behind a summoning ritual.
Players can explore 5 mysterious rooms and solve puzzles. Limited-time rewards include rare Gallery Cards, Units, Sprays and more.

The notes list several new items, with availability starting October 30, 2026, at 02:00 UTC:

Hero fixes
- Gorr: Fixed a bug where he could occasionally fly entirely out of the map if he cast Shadow Harvest right after generating a Black Berserker.
- Rogue: Fixed her left arm clipping through her cape while walking backwards in the X-Men '97 Season 2 costume.
- Black Cat: The overhead icon for her Fatal Weaver costume no longer disappears when she uses the Team-Up ability with Spider-Man, Binding Ties.
- Black Cat's Ultimate: Players could still press 'Q' to activate the second phase of her Ultimate even after binding it to another key. This is fixed.
- Invisible Woman: Casting other abilities did not always break her stealth if she entered it with Veiled Step. This is fixed.
Map and other fixes
- Times Square: Players who entered a game from Times Square and clicked "One More Round" on the post-match summary screen could not return to Times Square after the next match. The notes say this is addressed.
- Store: After all Pop & Wins were completed, the secondary navigation bar could shift left and go off-screen if no subtitle was set beneath the Store title. This UI glitch is fixed.
- Blood Hunt mode: Equipping Moon Knight's Ankh-specific build without setting any Traits could sometimes stop him from placing an Ankh. The notes say this is addressed.

Because there is no downtime, you can update and keep playing. Night of Illusions is available from the start of the patch to the end of the year. The store bundles arrive a day later, on October 30. The Winter Soldier bundle has a stated end date of November 27, 2026.
