Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE Launches on PS5 and Xbox Series November 3
Netmarble's action RPG Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE reaches PS5 and Xbox Series on November 3 at 4 p.m. PT, following its earlier PC release.

Netmarble and developer Netmarble Neo have confirmed that Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on November 3. Gematsu reported the announcement, including the launch time of 4:00 p.m. PT / 7:00 p.m. ET.
The game is an action RPG based on the Solo Leveling webtoon, which the Steam and Xbox pages say has 14.3 billion views worldwide.
What the game offers
The official store pages describe a mix of the webtoon's original story and "new adventures exclusive to the game." You follow Sung Jinwoo as he rises from his E-Rank beginnings toward becoming the world's strongest hunter.
Combat is the focus. Players can use Extreme Evasion to dodge attacks and follow with a counterattack through a perfect parry. A skill tree branches into 8 job advancements, so players can build their own style around weapons and skill combos.
Jinwoo's Monarch's Awakening system is another pillar. The pages say he becomes the "Ultimate Monarch of Shadows," succeeding Ashborn, with abilities that adapt to each combat situation. You can fight as Jinwoo or lead a party of other hunters.
Weapon crafting is also included. Players defeat monsters, collect items and craft weapons from the webtoon, such as Kasaka's Venom Fang and the Demon King's Daggers. Solo play is supported, along with four-player cooperative raids.
What is new versus the original?
The sources do not spell out a feature-by-feature comparison between OVERDRIVE and the original Solo Leveling: ARISE. The announcement and store pages only describe the game's own content, including the brand-new chapters alongside the webtoon's story. Anything beyond that has not been confirmed in the material available.
Price, editions and reception
The Xbox store lists the game from $39.99. A "Jeju Island Raid Special Pack" is listed at $4.99, and the game carries in-game purchases. The Steam page also shows a Deluxe Edition. No PS5 price was given in the sources.
On Steam, 75% of 3,319 user reviews are positive, and 73% of 105 reviews from the last 30 days are positive. Steam's page also says generative AI is used in a supplementary capacity during localization of select languages, which are marked in the in-game language menu.
What it means for you
