PlayStation has announced that its Black Friday Deals will start early this year. According to the PlayStation Blog, the sale goes live on PlayStation Store on Wednesday, November 4, and runs through Monday, November 30.

The sale covers thousands of titles on PS5, PS4 and PS VR2, plus expansions and DLC. The blog says discounts go as deep as 75% off, with an asterisk noting that the promotion and the percentage can vary by region.

What is on sale

PlayStation has not published the full list yet. It says the complete list of games, along with their discounts, will appear on PlayStation Store when the sale begins. Players are told to visit the Black Friday page on the store once it is live to see the range of games and the discounts in their own region.

The company did share a small preview of titles that will be included:

  • Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion Digital Deluxe Edition (PS4 and PS5)
  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PS4 and PS5)
  • NARUTO X BORUTO Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS Deluxe Edition (PS4 and PS5)
  • That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles Digital Deluxe Edition

The preview does not give individual prices or percentages for these games. Those details are due once the sale opens.

Key dates and times

The blog gives the following schedule for the PlayStation Store promotion:

  • Starts: November 4 at 00:00 PST/GMT/JST
  • Refreshes: November 16 at 00:00 PST/GMT/JST
  • Certain discounts end: November 20 at 23:59 PST/GMT/JST
  • Ends: November 30 at 23:59 PST/GMT/JST

The refresh on November 16 means the lineup is not fixed for the whole month. PlayStation says some deals will be replaced with new offers, and that certain discounts will finish on November 20, before the overall promotion ends. The product page for each item has the details on when its particular deal ends.

What it means for you

If a specific game is on your wishlist, check its product page on PlayStation Store once the sale starts. That page is where PlayStation says you will find the end date for each deal. Because some discounts stop on November 20 and the lineup changes on November 16, waiting until the final days of the month could mean missing a price you wanted.

The discount you see depends on your region, so do not assume a percentage quoted elsewhere will match your store. PlayStation's own Black Friday page is the place to confirm what applies to you.
