What Hard West II is about
The game follows Gin Carter, a legendary outlaw who sets out to rob the mysterious "Ghost Train." It soon becomes clear that gold is not the real goal. Carter has to reclaim his own soul.
Along with a posse, players travel across the Weird West, a setting that mixes frontier folklore with occult horror. The action includes duels, train robberies and horseback chases. Steam describes the game as a journey "to the heart of darkness in the American West."
